Gaining the reputation of an eloquent and entertaining live performer, Mr. B has played recitals across the UK and Europe, from performing at Glastonbury Festival to the NME club in Paris. He has been described as a ‘man on a mission to introduce the Queen’s English to hip-hop, creating ‘Chap-hop’. Mr. B likes to take to the stage with his Banjolele and perform pieces on high society, pipe-smoking and cricket, as well as more well-known music, re-worked in his own fashion. His most popular video is ‘Chap-Hop History’, which has received over half a million hits on Youtube.
After winning ‘best hip-hop act’ at the People’s Music Awards in 2011, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer has gone on to release his latest long player ‘Can’t Stop, Shan’t Stop’ in 2013 and has been named one of the top things to see at Glastonbury 2014 by the Guardian and The Telegraph.
